A pallet knife extravaganza! I painted this impressionistic sunrise over the ocean by applying the paint directly to the canvas and spreading it about with the pallet knife, letting the paint mix as I did. Came out really nice. I like the sun behind the clouds.

Went to an arts and crafts event at the old Pearl Brewery in San Antonio, Texas. After looking at all the booths I went down to the river walk and took a bunch of pictures. Of course, I have to paint the scene from a couple of them.

I was at an arts and craft event at the old Pearl Brewery in San Antonio, Texas and I took a little stroll along the River Walk. I saw this barge waiting for a new load of tourists to take down the river. This one was painted a bright orange so I decided to paint it. I mean, how often do you get to use orange in a landscape?

Here is an interesting mesquite tree a couple blocks south of my house. These trees always have interesting shapes. They start as a bush and however they form is how they stay as a tree.

This is a blue agave two blocks from where I live in full super bloom. These cactus shoot up more than 20 feet in a few days then flower. It's crazy and they are doing it all over the place.
